NEW HAVEN, Conn. — A lawyer for the fiancée of a Yale lab technician charged with killing a graduate student said yesterday he’s been told authorities are seeking a sample of her DNA.

Robert Berke, attorney for Jennifer Hramadka, said it’s unclear why authorities made the request. He says he was told in September after Annie Le was killed that she is not a suspect.

Hramadka’s boyfriend, Raymond Clark III, is charged with killing Le, 24, in September, five days before Le was to be married on Long Island.

Meanwhile, police found blood on the kitchen floor of Clark’s apartment, according to affidavits released yesterday.
