A rogue NYPD officer who allegedly hauled an innocent black man to jail and who was caught later using the “N-word” on a wiretap is now being held in protective custody.

Michael Daragjati, an eight-year veteran, remains in solitary confinement at a federal detention center while he awaits a bail hearing.

Daragjati faces civil-rights charges for allegedly falsifying the arrest of a Staten Island man on April 15.
