A naked woman’s charred and partially decomposed corpse was found in the woods near a Staten Island Elementary school Sunday, according to police sources.

Investigators recovered the remains near Bartow and Eugene Avenue in a wooded South Shore park that abuts Public School 6 just before 2 p.m. following a 911 call, police and fire officials said.

It was not clear whether the woman died before or after she was set ablaze, but the incident is being investigated as a homicide, sources said.
