A nanny headhunter to the stars — who boasted of hiring domestic staff for such luminaries as Mariah Carey, Robert DeNiro and Tommy Mottola — was convicted today of nine counts of aggravated harassment and one count of stalking for bombarding the wife of a wealthy Upper East Side hedge-fund honcho with phone and computer messages after she declined to hire one of his clients.

Adrian Smith is being held in lieu of bail, and faces up to a year jail upon his sentencing on the misdemeanor charges Dec. 20, prosecutors said.

On that date a trial on Smith’s second set of harassment charges is also due to begin — this one over his allegedly threatening rock icon Lou Reed’s manager, Tom Sarig.
