An NBC producer who posted a secret sex tape of his girlfriend on a porn site pleaded guilty Tuesday to unlawful surveillance and was ordered to stay away from the victim.
Carlo Dellaverson, 31, was busted last year after he used a hidden camera to film a Valentine’s Day romp with his then-girlfriend in the Greenwich Village apartment they shared.
Dellaverson, a Web producer for NBC News, later posted the video on XTube, a Netherlands-based porn site that claims 9 million registered users.
The unwitting co-star found the video on Dellaverson’s computer several months later, sources said, and promptly dumped Dellaverson before moving out.
She later emailed Dellaverson asking him why he posted the video for the world to see — and he confirmed in his reply that he had put the steamy footage online.
The victim immediately filed a police report.
Dellaverson was sentenced to 500 hours of community service. If he complies with the conditions of the deal, he will be able to withdraw his pleas and plead guilty to misdemeanors, at which point he will be on probation for three years.
He will have to continue with therapy and progress reports, and can have no contact with the victim.
Dellaverson’s father, Gary Dellaverson, is a former chief labor negotiator and chief financial officer for the MTA.
