Students and staffers at the neighborhood school near last week’s deadly Bronx fire were grief-stricken Tuesday, their first day back since the blaze.
“The teachers were looking [at the burned building] and crying. They were crying, crying,” said Emelia Acheampong, 42, who escaped the flames and whose three oldest kids go to PS 205.
A PS 205 student — 7-year-old Kelesha Francis — was one of 12 people to perish in the fire, and another was injured.
