Jane Hotel neighbors are cursing the day the Beatrice Inn shut its doors.

The West Village residents have taken to a blog and a Twitter feed, both called “Nightmare on Jane Street,” to voice their hatred for the trendy new hotel that has quickly become a haven for celebrities, movie premieres and late-night after parties.

Both the blog and Twitter feed serve as real-time updates for the non-stop action coming in and out of the Jane Hotel: “Much pacing on Jane tonight, btw the Jane bouncers, bellhops, emergency ConEd workers, traffic attendants, cops and club goers…” Tweets @NightmareOnJane at about 1:30 a.m. this morning.

The Nightmare on Jane Street blog posts range from reports on “noise wars” to accounts of clubgoers being carried out by security.
