Boosters of Brooklyn’s proposed Nets arena scored a slam-dunk yesterday: The state’s highest court ruled that officials can use eminent domain to take property needed for the project.

The 6-1 Court of Appeals ruling will let construction on the arena begin as soon as next month, said Joe DePlasco, a spokesman for the developer, Forest City Ratner.

About $750 million in bonding for the project will be issued next week, and the state, city and MTA will sign off on the deal in mid-December, DePlasco said. The Nets are 0-13 this season.
