Here’s one cop taking a bite out of crime.

A pair of scaredy-cat burglary suspects holed up in a New Haven, Conn., house came out with their hands up Friday after a cop began barking like a fierce dog, the New Haven Register reports.

The officer had warned the pair, who were wanted in an earlier police chase, that he would send in a police dog if they didn’t surrender. When it turned out the dog wasn’t available, the cop performed his arresting impression.

Suspects Kwame Wells-Jordan, 21, and Norman Boone, 23, were arrested and charged with burglary and motor vehicle theft, the newspaper said.
