New images have been released of the suspect in a board daylight mugging of an elderly woman in Jackson Heights last week.
Around 11:45am on Nov. 2, the suspect approached the 84-year-old victim from behind on 80th Street off 37th Avenue.
He snatched her purse which contained a cell phone, Metrocard and approximately $200 in cash before running off.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 18 to 25 years old, 5’6 and 150 lbs.
At the time of the crime he is seen wearing a dark colored jacket and camouflage pants with white sneakers.
This is the latest in a rash of various assaults and robberies against elderly citizens around the city.
