A 2.1-magnitude earthquake shook homes in northwestern New Jersey Thursday morning.

The tremblor did not cause serious damage but rattled windows and shook up residents in much of Hunterdon County and into Eastern Pennsylvania, 1010WINS News reported.

The epicenter of the quake was in Milford, and struck shortly before 7 a.m., according to the US Geological Survey.

It wasn’t the Garden State’s first earthquake this year — a 3.1-magnitude tremblor struck East Freehold in September.

In addition, a 1.7-magnitude quake struck Milford on Aug. 19, 1010WINS said.
