ASPEN, Colo. — The NYPD’s much-anticipated Domain Awareness System, which will combine multiple sources of information to improve the tracking of criminals and terrorists, will launch soon, Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said yesterday at a security forum here.

The Microsoft-developed software will add video-surveillance feeds from around New York City to information culled from various law-enforcement databases.
