A Brooklyn man accused of savagely beating his girlfriend’s foster child could face murder charges now that the boy has been declared dead from his injuries — which were so bad that doctors could save only his heart for an organ donation.
Kymell Oram died Friday after clinging to life for nearly two weeks following a beating that left him with rib fractures and internal injuries.
Doctors at Brookdale Hospital, acting on the family’s wishes, kept 17-month-old Kymell on a ventilator to harvest his organs — but he had been beaten so badly that only his heart escaped injury, sources said.
Kysheen Oliver, 19, was arraigned on assault and endangerment charges.
