The Whitney Museum of American Art yesterday announced that it had received from a trustee and longtime benefactor more than 350 original works — including some by Jasper Johns, Willem de Kooning and Andy Warhol.
The 367 individual pieces, donated by philanthropist and art collector Emily Fisher Landau, will center an exhibition already planned for 2011.
