A New Jersey couple got a ball dropped on them while celebrating New Year’s Eve on the roof of a Midtown club.

Dr. Denis Kapkov, 45, and his wife, Dr. Galina Mindlin, 51, say they paid nearly $1,000 to spend Dec. 31, 2009, atop the now-defunct China Club.

The couple is suing the club, claiming that staff ejected them from their table and beat up Kapkov when he asked why.

A lawyer representing the club in its bankruptcy did not return an e-mail.
