A one-year study of New York City’s upstate drinking-water supply has found only extremely small traces of pharmaceuticals and personal-care products that pose no public health risk.
Testers found 16 pharmaceuticals and personal-care products at least once in quarterly exams but not at concentrations that would present a potential concern.
