New Yorkers will enjoy cooler temperatures and lower humidity over the weekend before things get all hot and sweaty come Labor Day, meteorologists said Friday.

AccuWeather reports indicate that highs will hover around the low- to mid-80s on Saturday.

But temperatures will start rising on Sunday and continue to hammer the city through Tuesday, when meteorologists expect record highs.

Temperatures are forecast to start cooling down to around 80 on Wednesday, when the city’s public schools open, before falling to the mid-70s by the middle of next week.
