It’ll be nothing but sunny skies for the next three days in the Big Apple, with Memorial Day the best of the bunch, forecasters said Friday.

“We’re going to luck out this weekend,” said AccuWeather senior meteorologist Dave Dombek, who predicted a gentle breeze, low humidity and a heavenly high of 86 degrees on Monday. “We’ve been pretty lucky this year.”

After a month of lousy weather and washout weekends, Dombek said New Yorkers could look forward to perfect weather for barbecuing and hitting the beach.

“Of the three summer holidays — Memorial Day, July 4 and Labor Day — I would say Memorial Day is probably the holiday most prone to getting nasty in the northeast where you get cool winds off the ocean and drizzle and dampness and ugly weather.

“If you look back at history, it runs the gamut from dry and pleasant to sunny and hot and thunderstorms and chilly. It’s a really changeable time of year.”

But if you’re planning your first beach visit or pool party of the season, make sure you do it on Sunday and not Saturday.

On Sunday, temperatures will push 86 degrees. Saturday will be “a little on the cool side,” Dombek said, with a high of 72.

Big Apple beaches open for the season on Saturday — meaning lifeguards will be out in force at hot spots such as the Rockaway beaches and Coney Island.

Enjoy it while you can. Tuesday and Wednesday are set to send us back to damp spring days with all-day showers forecast and respective highs of 74 and 86 degrees.
