Gov. Cuomo’s live-in partner, Sandra Lee, should be required to disclose her finances as part of Albany’s ethics reform, according to New Yorkers questioned in a new poll.
Voters, by 64-32 percent, told Quinnipiac University pollsters that spouses and live-in partners should be in the same category when it comes to disclosing outside income.
It’s a touchy issue for Cuomo and Lee, a millionaire celebrity chef, who live together in Westchester.
Cuomo is pushing legislators to disclose outside income of $1,000 or more and a list of clients for those who are lawyers earning $5,000 or more.
But his proposal doesn’t cover spouses or live-in partners.
