COVID-19 vaccinations in the Big Apple have hit a record high, Mayor de Blasio said Saturday.

The city gave out 76,024 of the jabs Friday, according to the mayor.

“If we could do that in a single day — do the math times seven — and we are right on pace to do half a million or more per week. Our goal is to reach 5 million fully vaccinated New Yorkers by June,” Hizzoner said speaking at a pop-up vaccination site at First Corinthian Baptist Church in Harlem.

The vaccination program statewide also picked up steam, with 157,046 doses given out in the previous 24 hours, Gov. Cuomo said early Saturday afternoon.

He said the state had administered 4,327,468 doses out of 4,996,800 received.

The news came as the number of New Yorkers hospitalized with COVID-19 continues to drop, hitting the lowest level since Dec. 12.

The hospitalizations dropped to 5,445 Friday, Cuomo said.

The state’s seven-day average positivity rate dropped to 3.18 percent, the lowest since Nov. 26. The daily positivity rate Friday was 2.85 percent, a slight tick up from the previous day.

New York City’s seven-day positivity rate stood at 4.08 percent Friday.

There were 85 deaths statewide from the coronavirus Friday including 54 among residents of the five boroughs.
