A 2-year-old New Jersey boy is dead after what authorities suspect was a fatal fall from a 20th floor apartment window.

Newark cops received a call about an injured toddler just before 7 a.m. on Saturday, according to an Essex County Prosecutor’s Office source.

The police arrived at the Elizabeth Towers high-rise apartment building on Elizabeth Avenue to find the boy unresponsive.

The child, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The prosecutor’s office is investigating what led up to Saturday’s tragedy.

However, authorities believe the boy’s death was accidental.
