What had been a fun-filled trip to a New Jersey amusement park turned into a nightmare yesterday when an 11-year-old girl plummeted from a Ferris wheel and died.

Abiah Jones fell at Morley Piers Mariner’s Landing Pier in Wildwood at around 12:30 p.m., according to cops.

The girl was pronounced dead 45 minutes later at Cape Regional Medical Center.

Jones was riding “The Great Wheel,” which at 156 feet is considered the tallest on the East Coast.
