TRENTON, NJ — Drivers who use seven Delaware River bridges will face the first toll increase since 2001 when new rates take effect July 1.

The cash price will jump from 75 cents to $1 for cars traveling between New Jersey and Pennsylvania on the bridges operated by the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission. A 40 percent E-ZPass discount remains.
