TRENTON, NJ — The former head of the Ocean County Democratic Party was sentenced to probation yesterday in New Jersey’s largest corruption sting.

Alfonso Santoro will serve three years’ probation, including one year of home confinement.

Santoro, 70, pleaded guilty in December to taking money from a federal informant.
