NJ stirred, not shaken
What’s shaking in New Jersey? Apparently not an earthquake.
Many people in southern Jersey reported feeling the ground vibrate at about 10 a.m. yesterday.
But geophysicist Paul Caruso of the US Geological Survey told The Press of Atlantic City that no earthquake was detected.
Caruso said the vibration could have been caused by a thunderstorm or a sonic boom from a military jet.
