A New Jersey middle school teacher was arrested on Tuesday for having sexual conversations with a boy he thought was 14-years-old, a report said.

Jesse Rosenbaum, 65 — who teaches science and special education at Long Branch Middle School — was charged with attempted endangering the welfare of a child for soliciting minors to engage in sex acts, NJ.com reported.

Rosenbaum was busted near his home in Manalapan after an undercover sting revealed he had sent sexually explicit messages to a person the thought was 14-years-old, the outlet reported citing the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office.

The person Rosenbaum was communicating with was an undercover cop in Mercer county, the office said.

Rosenbaum has been suspended from his job pending an investigation.
