More than two dozen people were hurt when a New Jersey Transit bus apparently rear-ended another near Port Authority Bus Terminal early Thursday – the second such incident in three weeks.

The two buses collided around 8:50 a.m. on Ramp 96, which leads from the Lincoln Tunnel to Port Authority, according to the FDNY and Port Authority Police.

Twenty-nine people suffered minor injuries, according to the FDNY, who responded to the scene at West 41st Street and Dyer Avenue.

All but two of those victims were hospitalized for their injuries, which included “musculoskeletal injuries, neck pain, back pain, things of that nature,” FDNY Deputy Assistant Chief Joseph Pataki told reporters at the scene.

One woman, Destiny Destra, told The Post that her 69-year-old mother, Desiree Dyre – who was riding in the rear bus – was left with a concussion and arm injuries.

“She’s still in a lot of pain right now,” Destra said.

“She did tell me that the bus seemed to be speeding up the ramp, and I guess they did not know when they hit or collided with the bus in front of them,” she added. “She was not even able to give me the report, but she did tell me that a lot of people were on the floor. There was a lot of blood. There was a lot of people that were in distress.”

Destra added that her mom recalled one passenger asking the driver to slow down, but the driver did not.

A woman who was on the front bus declined to speak in detail, but said her bus was slammed from behind, and that she is OK aside from some neck pain.

Traffic wasn’t severely affected by the collision, according to PAPD Lieutenant Chris Howe – who added that with time, both buses should be driveable again. The crash comes just three weeks after three buses crashed at Port Authority forcing the terminal to shut down during the morning rush hour and about a week after a bus stalled in the tunnel, causing brutal delays during the morning commute.
