A New Jersey woman was killed Tuesday morning when a pickup truck barreled into her home, police said.

Barbara Anne Filan, 55, was lying in a bed in her living room in Brick when an 86-year-old driver behind the wheel of a Ford F-150 slammed into the wall of the house on Drum Point Road just before 9 a.m., local authorities said.

First responders had to dig her out of the rubble and she later succumbed to her injuries, police said.

The driver, a Brick man who was not named, had turned into the back of a strip mall next to Filan’s home and hit two restaurant oil tanks before crashing into the house, police said.

The driver was taken to a nearby hospital for observation, cops said.
