Maybe he’s just shy.
The Queens fiend who wore a fake beard and sunglasses when he allegedly tried to gun down two cops skipped a court appearance yesterday and will not testify before a grand jury, his lawyer said.
Antonio Olmeda’s Legal Aid lawyer, Oona O’Flaherty, waived his appearance for the hearing.
Olmeda, 53, charged with two counts of first-degree attempted murder, was stopped on a Jackson Heights street earlier this month wearing a fake beard and dark sunglasses when two officers approached him, and he allegedly fired two shots at the pair. One of the bullets went into a dental office packed with children.
