No to NJ tunnel
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is standing firm on stopping work on a rail tunnel under the Hudson River.
He is sticking to a decision he made more than two weeks ago, when he argued the state can’t afford to pay any overruns on the $9 billion-plus project, an official told The Associated Press.
The tunnel would double train capacity between New York City and New Jersey.
