A noose was found hanging in a tree across the street from a Queens school in a possible bias crime, cops said today.
The sick symbol of hate was spotted by a resident on 155th Avenue in South Ozone Park around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday and the witness called 911, authorities said.
Cops responded and removed the noose, which was hanging near the Walter Ward School.
Police, who are investigating the incident as a possible bias crime, are canvassing the area for clues.
It’s not immediately clear how long the noose was there.
