A desperate Brooklyn man told a cop, “I need to borrow this” — then tried to pull the gun out of the patrolman’s holster, authorities said yesterday.

Officer Brian Chiu, 26, was able to stop Rifat Markisic, 34, from grabbing the weapon as they stood on Eastern Parkway at Bedford Avenue in Crown Heights on Tuesday afternoon, police said, then arrested him.
