Residents in storm-ravaged northern New Jersey awoke to a small earthquake early yesterday.

Some heard a loud boom or saw shaking when the temblor, with a magnitude of 2.0, struck at 1:19 a.m.

Centered in Ringwood, NJ, the quake was also felt in Mahwah, Wanaque, Oakland, Franklin Lakes, West Milford and Paterson.
