A crazed man was arrested after he attacked a US marshal in Foley Square.

The unidentified man walked up to the uniformed marshal while he sat in a security booth at Centre and Pearl streets outside the federal courthouse at about 11:30 a.m. yesterday and introduced himself.

“Hello, my name is Mike,” the man said before he punched the marshal in the face, said sources.

The marshal stumbled out of the booth and fell, banging his head on the curb, said sources. Another marshal tackled “Mike” and arrested him.
