Police are searching for a missing Long Island mother and her 3-year-old daughter who haven’t been seen for four days — and the missing woman’s mom said she is “sick” over it.
Suffolk County Police have launched a search for Alexandra Hill, 38, and her toddler daughter, Chloe Sokolinski, the agency said in a news release.
“I am so sick to my stomach,” Hill’s mom, Pamela Hill of Marysville, Pa., said.
“I just found out,” she sobbed. “Nobody told me. A friend of Alexandra’s called me because she said it was all over the paper.”
The mom said she is estranged from her ex-husband and hasn’t seen her daughter in a year.
“I want to tell her to come home and how much I love her and Chloe,” the grandmother said. “I want to be with them. I want to help them.”
She declined to answer further questions about her daughter.
The pair was last seen in East Setauket at the woman’s father’s home at 8 a.m. Wednesday. The dad didn’t immediately respond to voicemails.
They were last seen traveling in a red Honda Accord and may have been going to a relative’s place in New Jersey.
