A pickup truck driver going the wrong way on the Long Island Expressway died early Thursday when he slammed into another motorist — who was also killed in the head-on crash, cops said.

Thomas Raimondo, 61, was heading east on the westbound expressway in a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado when he slammed into a 2005 Acura sedan driven by Jose Ferreira, 32, at around 12:45 a.m. between Exits 62 and 63 in Holtsville, Suffolk County Police said.

Both Raimondo, of Holbrook, and Ferreira, of West Babylon, were mortally wounded and could not be resuscitated by first responders, cops said.
