CORAM, N.Y. — Police on Long Island say a 46-year-old motorcyclist has died in a crash.

Gary Curcie was westbound on Middle Country Road in Coram at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday when he collided with a car at Country Club Drive.

The driver of the car was turning left onto County Club Drive when the vehicles collided.

Curcie, of Kings Park, was pronounced dead at John T. Mather Memorial Hospital in Port Jefferson.

Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks. The investigation is continuing.
