Beef bourguignon and rutabaga puree aren’t normally on the menu at a disaster recovery site.

But that’s what the New York Public Library plans to pass out on Staten Island on Tuesday afternoon.

The library decided on Friday to nix its black-tie fundraiser. Its landmark building on 42nd Street, where the gala was to be held, lost power in the storm and didn’t reopen until Monday.

Library employees were enlisted to help serve the food, which can feed about 600 people, at three shelters on Staten Island.

The meal includes Caesar salad, beef bourguignon and puree of rutabaga and potato. The library said it had not received any requests for refunds from people who bought gala tickets, which were $2,500.
