More than two dozen elected officials turned out on the City Hall steps yesterday to back state Sen. Eric Schneiderman as he announced his run for state attorney general.

The Upper West Side Democrat said he would tackle everything from gun control to mortgage fraud to political and social interests.

“People are sick of a political system that has one set of rules for the powerful and another set for everyone else,” he said.
