A man was fatally shot in the chest and another in the buttocks outside a Bronx apartment building Saturday, police said.

The double-shooting occurred at about 5 p.m. at 1460 Macombs Road in Mount Eden.

Police found a 46-year-old man outside the building suffering from a gunshot wound to the buttocks.

EMS rushed him to the NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln to be treated for his non-life threatening wounds.

A 32-year-old man who fled the scene before cops arrived later showed up at the BronxCare Health System with a bullet wound to his chest.

He later died from his injuries, according to police.

Authorities said the two shootings were linked, but the circumstances surrounding what unfolded wasn’t immediately clear.

The dead man’s identity is being withheld until his family are notified, police said.

The investigation remains ongoing.
