At least four people were injured in a four-alarm fire that spread to three homes in the Bronx on Tuesday night, authorities said.
The blaze erupted at about 7:45 p.m. at a residence on Mead Street in Van Nest before two other nearby homes also caught fire, according to the FDNY.
Over 200 smoke-eaters and EMTs responded to the fire, the fire department said.
Four civilians were injured and were treated on scene.
Four people were injured at the scene of the massive fire, according to the FDNY. CitizenFirefighters were still battling the blaze by about 9 p.m., the FDNY said.
