A thief robbed a Midtown store at gunpoint early Sunday evening, according to cops. 

The suspect displayed a gun inside Le Sak Paris, a leather goods store, on Fifth Avenue near East 36th Street around 6 p.m. before swiping money from the register, police said. 

It was unclear how much cash was stolen. 

The suspect was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweater and a black face mask, cops said.
