A 24-year-old man was shot and killed near his Brooklyn home on Sunday afternoon, police said.

Benjamin Brown was shot twice in the torso outside a Bedford-Stuyvesant apartment building on Willoughby Avenue near Throop Avenue at about 2:25 p.m., according to cops.

Brown, who lives on the same block, was taken to Woodhull Hospital and pronounced dead, police said.

It was unclear what sparked the deadly incident.

Police did not immediately make any arrest or identify any suspects in the homicide.

Investigators are canvassing the area for ballistic evidence and surveillance footage, cops said.
