A 37-year-old man was shot while sitting inside of a car on an Upper West Side street Monday night, police said.

The victim was parked near the intersection of West 72nd Street and Columbus Avenue when a dark sedan pulled up alongside him and one of the occupants began opening fire at about 10 p.m., cops said.

The man was struck in the hip and later walked into Weill Cornell Medical Center on the Upper East Side, police said.

He suffered non-life threatening injuries, cops said.

The shooter fled the scene in the vehicle in an unknown direction. No arrests were made by early Tuesday.
