A straphanger was stabbed in the face in an unprovoked rush-hour attack on Friday morning in Queens, police said.
The 62-year-old man was taking the southbound 7 train around 8:40 a.m. when an unknown man attacked him, stabbing him in the hand and face with a knife, cops said.
Cops and EMS met the man at the Queensboro Plaza Station and transported him to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was expected to recover, according to police.
