A 50-year-old man is suspected of stabbing his older brother to death in Lower Manhattan on Saturday, according to police and sources.
The victim, 61, was found unconscious with a stab wound to his stomach at around 3:30 p.m. inside the Governor Alfred E. Smith Houses in Two Bridges, police sources and the NYPD said.
He was brought to NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital and declared dead.
His brother was taken into custody as a person of interest in the slaying, cops said. He hadn’t been charged as of Saturday evening.
Police are waiting until next-of-kin is notified to release the victim’s name.
