Snow no!

It’s not even two weeks into November but the city’s Sanitation Department has issued a “snow alert” for 8 p.m. Thursday.

“Salt spreaders are loaded and ready to be deployed. Drive carefully,” the department posted on Twitter, sending chills down New Yorkers’ spines.

Don’t panic, though. While temps are expected to drop to near freezing Thursday night, less than a half-inch of snow is expected, according to the National Weather Service. There is also a slight chance of snow by 9 a.m. Friday, with a high of 42 and low of 34 forecast.
