Two brazen bandits robbed a postal worker on the street, threatening him with a gun and snatching his letter carrier in Brooklyn, police said.

The episode unfolded Thursday afternoon around 3 p.m. when the worker was standing on East 24th Street, near Avenue S in Sheepshead Bay cops said.

The two male suspects approached the unsuspecting worker, threatened to use a gun, then stole his mail carrier, authorities said.

A video shows one suspect grabbing the postal cart and fending off the employee who tried to thwart the robbery.

A second suspect pulled up in a white rented van without license plates. The first suspect then puts the cart in the van before making their getaway.

The mail carrier was not hurt.
