A restaurant executive has been accused of stealing more than $1 million from a Manhattan company that runs two popular chains.
Constantine Flouras, of Manhasset, was charged with grand larceny. He allegedly manipulated the Pax Ventures payroll system over a six-year period.
The company operates the Pax Wholesome Foods and Europa Cafe chains.
Flouras was the company’s vice president of human resources.
The Wall Street Journal says messages left for Flouras and his attorney were not immediately returned.
