An SUV passenger was fatally shot in the back of the head during a road rage incident in the Bronx early Wednesday, cops said.
Aracellio Pellot, 45, was sitting in the rear seat of a Nissan SUV on East 162nd Street near Melrose Avenue around 5:40 a.m. when a suspect in a white SUV opened fire, striking him, police said.
The driver and the front-seat passenger, who were also in the car, were unharmed.
It was not immediately clear whether the victim, Pellot, who lived about two miles from the scene, was the intended target.
No arrests had been made by later in the morning, and the victim’s name was not released pending family notification.
Hours earlier, two men were hurt in non-fatal shootings in Brooklyn.
An adult man was shot in the hand on Sutter Avenue near Junius Street in Brownsville around 10 p.m. Tuesday, cops said.

In Bay Ridge, another man was shot in the leg in front of an apartment building on 68th Street near Third Avenue around 7:50 p.m. Tuesday, cops said.
Police say the man rolled up in another car and opened fire. Gregory P. MangoHe was taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn in stable condition.
An unidentified gunman fled prior to police arrival, cops said.
